Art vs. Money PDF Print E-mail

A work of Art can invoke the powers of the divine or the powers of Chaos. While creating, the Artist walks a tight-rope between to much and to little of either one element, with the proper mix needed to avoid cliché and help transcend the user-experience.

A perfect creation speaks to some and not to others, in fact the more perfect it is, the broader a reach it has to it's audience.

The goal as an Artist should not be to sell art, but to find a way to create with more divinity and a sense of self than the last time the creative process occurred.

The Monetization and Capitilization of an Artists work can hinder the creative flow, as the tenets (greed, selfishness) of such systems, can be directly counter-productive to the creative-process itself.

Nonetheless, the key to Artistic happiness may truly be found in aesthetic atheism, yet I believe that the fuel for the creative process will always exist within us, as it is intrinsically linked to the life force that allows us to exist, period.
